The init_x64 file? Yes I have. It still rolls back and cancels the installation. I can't get anywhere unless the DSF is installed properly right? Then again, I am on Windows 8 RP. Will switch back to 7.

EDIT: Changed my system to Windows 7, changed the init_x64 by removing the i/ /s letters. Works perfectly. Emulator is great. biggrin.gif

Setup wizard doesn't seem to recognize emitter for me, tried unplugging and what not, still no dice.

Do we need to use the HDMI input for this to work? i ask cause i couldn't see 120hz as an option when i was connected through HDMI.

Hi, I have the same monitor as the OP (SA700 Samsung Active Shutter Glasses), I'm planning on buying 2X GTX670's but will the emulator still work with the latest NVIDIA drivers, with a DVI-D cable?

Cool, it's just that I've heard different from overclockers UK and 3D vision blog. I don't want to buy a new monitor so wanted to know from an actual user. I take it your gpu works with the latest drivers on a non 3d vision monitor?

Hi guys,

I have followed the instructions and all seems to work fine till I should install the 285,62 Nvidia drivers I have ran the setup for the drivers, but that cancels since it says I do not have compatible hardware. I have also tried to install it via the device manager, but there it complaints that the driver is not compabitle with my current windows.

I have a Nvidia kit actually - with glasses and an emitter - but my problem is rather that I cannot get the 3d vision stereoscopic settings appear in the Nvidia control panel.

I have also tried to play around with the inf file provided here http://blog.komeil.com/2010/04/nvidia-driver-windows-7-notebook-laptop.html But I am not sure how to apply this to the instructions in this thread here.

Also, when I try to install the 3d vision drivers, the inststaller says" Error: "This laptop's panel is not qualified for 3D Vision". I have installed the Dell Alienware EDID overdrive Alienware.png 199k .png file . In this picture you can also see that I have not insalled any Nvidia drivers since I am trying to get the 285,62 to work.

I have a Samsung 700G7C laptop, which has a 120 screen and GTX 675m GPU. Any ideas if I can get this to work? Any help is appreciated

You don't install the 285.62 drivers you just extract them. Reason for this is that we need the 285.62 driver files is because it contains a driver for the 3d vision emitter that will work with the emulated emitter, later drivers don't work (guess nvidia patched it).

You use whatever nvidia drivers you want that work with your current graphics card. Then you follow the instructions (which don't involve installing the 285.62 driver.)

Although I'm not sure it will ever work for you as this guide is meant for people with 120hz non-3d vision monitors with a build in emitter, not using the actual 3d vision kit with a non-3d vision monitor without its own emitter.
