Tube:
PrimoChill PrimoFlex Pro LRT Tubing UV Blue 1/2ID 3/4OD

Barbs are the ones from this set:

Rasa 750 RX240 WaterCooling Kit
Rasa Black Acetal CPU Waterblock
Socket AM2 and AM3 mounting kit
X2O 750 12V Pump/Reservoir
5mm Blue LED with 4Pin Molex
RX240 Radiator
80mm to 120mm Radiator brackets
2 x Low Noise 1700rpm 120mm Fans
2 x 120mm Fan Grills
2m of clear 7/16" tubing
6 x 1/2" barbs
1 x Thermal Paste

Or will I be risking leaks?

Thanks smile.gif

It will be okay, but for a better seal, I'd suggest using 7/16" ID tubing.

Thanks, if I wanted to keep that tubing what size barbs will I need?

What happened is I brought all my watercooling stuff today including $90 worth of compression fittings but they don't fit on my waterbloock so I am trying to figure out if I can just use 2 barbs for the waterblock. smile.gif

1/2" barbs are designed to work with 1/2" ID tubing. There's no need to use oversized barbs or undersized tubing, a properly fitted hose clamp makes a secure seal.

1/2" Tubing and 1/2" Barbs will be good. Make sure to use a sturdy zip tie or use some sort of hose clamp to make sure it doesn't leak.

Also make sure if you use compression fittings, you match both the Inner Diameter and Outer Diameter smile.gif GL!

^^ This. The only reason to use oversized barbs would smaller tubing is if you can't stand hose clamps. but aslong as you install correctly you shouldn't get leaks using either method
