Samsung 830 Series 128GB SSD

Lol what a stupid and deluded opinion. You dont happen to have an Alienware PC do you?

If it was me OP personally I would give the Vertex 4 a shot, has the fastest random read/write and thats what matters 90% of the time when buying an SSD. If it gets BSOD like the old vertex 3 controllers did then just return it, but theres no guarantee it will be bad.

The Plextor drives are also very good by all accounts.

I agreed and disagreed with you. Yes it could be other issue and not the drive. but in the end I can only give advice what on i have experienced, like everyone does wink.gif

Yes plextor are good, I have two Plextor M3 in raid 0 in my x79 computer. They are great so far, compare to the previous Raid 0 with Corsair Force GT, it kept on locking.
