Headphones - One side not working

Thread Starter
Hi, I've got a pair of Creative Tactic 3D Sigma headphones. Had them for about three weeks now, working fine, but today when I took them off my head, I dropped the headset. Since then, the left side does not produce any sound. I've tried listening to it on three computers, my phone and ipod.. Left side still does not work.

I think since it is my fault, I probably can't get a replacement.. so.. would there be any way to fix these?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

if you cant get them to work by messing with the volume inline wheel on the headset then the connection inside the ear piece itself most likely disconnected it from the ear piece inside... although Im not sure you could get to it without destroying the headset and making it far worse

I thought that had happened. It looks so hard to get inside the earcup. Sigh.

Might have knocked more than the wiring loose, hope not though. Try pulling the cushion off and looking for some small screws on the inside of the cup, close to the outer edges. If it is just a pulled wire, solder that bad boy back in place biggrin.gif

Well, it could be a few things. Adjust the cable, if it's 'cutting out;" then it's the cable, otherwise if somewhere in the driver coil has broke, to sum it up, ya better off cost wise getting new headphones.

Tbh, I'd just use this as a good excuse to get some proper headphones.
