Sry, don't have any gaming benchmarks, and do not think they will happen from my side. I just have to much to do with classes, work and everything else.

I'm going out now to get some tests done regarding temps. Reporting back later tonight.

LN2 runs are pushed to Thursday and will hopefully have the 3770K chips by then so they will be going under the pot as well.

Where did the Ivy at 4.6 beat the Sandy at 5.0??

its just speculation.thats why i dont want to judge the ivy.some leaked benchmarks 4.6-4.7 ivy is on par with a sb at 5.other benchamark ivy loses to sb.so we just have to w8 until some official review done:)

Ivy bridge seems to be the greatest FAIL of Intel. that happen when you have not competion, you get LAZZY and stupid.

lol its way to away from the biggest fail.maybe you cant understand the tick-tock philosophy of intel.this is a better chip than sb.you cant expect the same jump from the first gen of i5/7 cpu to second.this is just a minor jump from sb.and if you have sb you must be greedy to upgrade.intel aim for users who doesnt have already sb

I agree, you also have to consider the market Intel is approaching; for the laptop and normal desktop market; it does exactly what it says on the tin: it reduces power consumption which is all it was supposed to do! It's also worth remembering that this is their first production run on 22nm and 3D transistors, so it's going to be probably another major revision before they perfect it all. For now I think it's likely that these will be the equivalent of the C0 1366 CPU's that run hot and power hungry and soon enough a D0 equivalent will come along and everything will be better!

Yup, better clock for clock performance, & capable of overclocking higher than any SB. terrible...

Yes, i dont understand any tick-tock nietzsche Philosophy because this is more like a Tick - Tock - Tock and Tock Philosophy, c'mon i don't care about any weird Philosophy to explain whytf is they launching a processor garbage that hotter, bad overclocker and consume more power, you say is better, better than who? 2600k cost 309 (less than 3770k) and overclocked to 5 Ghz i bet is better than any IB. So be realistic, we are goin back not foward. Im not here to test Intel garbage, they MUST test their products very well before launch anything, Serious Company don't fool their customers, because there are something called reputation, i work on a celular assambler company and we don't release any new tecnology before test them even in normal use among us, and our familys then we release them. BUT of course AMD is not already a competition and we are starting to see effects of it (tick tock Monopoly Philosphy).

higher than any SB??? did you saw the test posted on this forum of the 3770k or not? Plus do you know about the Electromigration issues when manufactors process like this 22 nm are maked. Issues that can be avoid with better design and carefull tecniques.
