76C after 1min of Prime95? what happens after 30min when the loop hits equilibrium? Considering that i'm getting an average of 62C (68C on the hottest) after 1 hour of prime95 with 1.4v with a load temp of 15C on the water i would assume that anything over 1.3-1.35v is not doable @ normal room temps (Unless you are able to lower the PLL and that effects the voltage)

And are you still thinking that Ivys are good chips?
Lol... Delta+50 on water is terrible...

not bad not bad, temps little high though frown.gif i bet it thermal throttles @ intel burn test/linx?
tried bringing that voltage back yet?

from what i see i think ivy can take more higher temps than sb. when we talk about 80 C in sb we think that is very high. but in ivy maybe its normal because it can handle 100 or more dunno. we compare ivy and sb temps according that the maximum temps that a sb can handle is around 70-80 C

I'm just curious. How does so many get their hands on Ivy CPUs? Like the 3570k?

They are being sold for some weeks.

Retail chips from like Ebay or something like that? How did they leak out from Intel? A sneaky employee who managed to get hands on a couple of boxes? tongue.gif

Or are they from OEM? Didn't know they used "K" models in OEM-computers.
