Lol... Delta+50 on water is terrible...

To early to tell, but they are not as big fail as some may think. The performance gain all in all regardless off clock 4 clock vs SB looks to be OK. But that's not everything, a stronger IGP, better ram clock support, etc etc all count in, some may not need them, but they are improvements and IB was never meant to be a HUGE leap over SB.

Source please??

I have a 3570K and a couple of 3770K's (one of them is going to MyDog tomorrow)

I have seen them on various chinese, japanese and dutch online stores from the beginning of April.

How much did you pay for them excluding shipping? smile.gif

Funny how they are being sold already then. Too bad there is no Trinity available on the net, would like to see it's performance ^_^

Anyways 2700k is 2100SEK ($314) atm, while 3770k will be at 3100SEK ($463).

Doesn't feel like 3770k is worth those extra $150?

i doubt it is, for me the i5 2500k was 190 euro, and the 3570k 220, figured it was worth the shot tongue.gif

Let's assume you get a +10% performance over SB (which is not true due to less overclocking capability). The chip gets too hot it just sucks! Even if it was 30% better than Sandy, I wouldn't justify it because of the extremely huge temps.
Nobody buying a 3570k/3770k is using the IGP. And 1% of people is using >2133MhZ RAM.

and of course every sandy bridge will overclock 5.2ghz stable on air right?

But what if these leaked Ivy's aren't the final product? Like an sample that was supposed to sell thus the retail box, but later on got dismissed because of the high temperatures etc.etc?
Maybe there's another revision being released when they're doing it officially?

Or any sources that the available chips are the last revisions and those that will get sold officially soon?

At least, a 5.2GhZ SB doesn't reach delta+50 on water.

Any source claiming that the Ivy Bridge CPU's available are the final revision before launch?
