[Slashgear] Ivy Bridge Release Date April 23rd!! Google News! - Page 4

Being in the market for an Ultrabook, this intrigues me. However, I cannot get excited about IB when an Ultrabook with an AMD proc would be just plain better. IB closes the gap but is still behind for integrated graphic by a margin big enough to matter to me.

I will consider Ivy for upgrade if it can do 5.5ghz or more on water.

1 Question:

I would like a A10 apu for a htpc IF they fixed the scaling in dual graphic mode.

Nothing to see here......

Umm, maybe you should do some more research on trigate and the z77 chipset.

Btw, gtx 790 on 2x pcie x16 + 10 core (20 thread) 20mb cache ivbe on 7ghz 95w seems good to me. Air cooled as well. And no, im not pulling these numbers out of my ass and dont give a **** if you beleive me or not.

I was more referring to this claim "gtx 790 on 2x pcie x16 + 10 core (20 thread) 20mb cache ivbe on 7ghz 95w"

I am more interested to see what IB does on water, than when it will be released..

btw 7ghz was on DICE or LN.. Not on air.. However, if you would like to show proof I would love love love to see it.. Id would also camp out at a store for a week in below zero temps to get one if it were true!
