Patriot Sector 7

Thread Starter
I have 12 GB of this 3 x 4. I'm wondering if it is safer to underclock it by 1MHz or overclock it by 5MHz.

DDR3-1333

ex. Adjusted DRAM freq of 1332 or 1338

Thanks for the help.

it really wont make a difference to stability since it is such a small overclock. The underclock is just as safe as the overclock but if you want to be really safe using the underclocked frequency is your best bet.

Thanks..

I'm trying to get my OCing going but this is the first real answer I got to the questions I asked yesterday. +1

Oh yeah, would you happen to know where to find, System Memory Multiplier, this for my memory?

I think I figured out why I am confused.

If my base clock is 133MHZ, then my DRAM ratio would be 5 (1333) and my uncore is 10 (2666). Is that right?
