EVGA Z77 FTW

The Z77 FTW is listed as EATX, but its dimensions are:

Length: 12in - 304.8mm
Width: 10.375in - 263.5mm

I think this is slightly smaller than a true EATX and I was wondering if it would fit in a Obsidian 650D. Anyone have an idea?

It should fit no problems. It's about 0.775" wider than standard ATX. So if you have enough width space, you should be fine.

I want to know that too. People on some forums are in some kind of trans I try two weeks to find answer.
I know Z77 will be same dimension like P67 and Z68FTW but nobody answer me on simple question. Than I find this video.

I plan to buy Z77FTW and put in 650D but want to be sure.
Other people says will not fit in Obsidian 650D. But iI don't know than what is this on youtube clip.

My Sabertooth is:
12.0" x 9.6"

The EVGA Z77 FTW is:
12.0'' x 10.375"

Once I get home I'm going to measure the width of the space available right now inside the case. I'm guessing the standoffs will be in the same place as the Sabertooth. At least I hope they will be...

I'm not getting my Z77/3770k until probably September, so I have some time.

Correct. That is one thing I like about EATX is that it has the same standoff spacing as standard ATX while only being a bit wider. XL-ATX is the more problematic board since you need a case with 9+ expansion slots.

yea most if not all cases that support ATX take eATX as well.

Sweet. Now I just need to decide between this or the Sniper 3. I have a few months, but I think it's a tough decision. biggrin.gif

sniper 3 is XL-ATX. So you may not have room

no that is not true, it is eATX, it will fit in 99% of cases. GIGABYTE screwed up specs on the site, Please check its length against the UD5H's you will see what I mean. Also check GIGABYTE's microsite for Z77 and it has the proper ATX rating.
