Klipsch 5.1 subwoofer question

I just picked up the subwoofer unit from a Klipsch 5.1 THX set for $5, a deal which I couldn't pass up. The guy told me that it works as far as he knows, and for $5 I was willing to take a chance. I bought it assuming I could use my control pod from my 2.1 promedia set, which turned out to not fit.

I've looked around for a 5.1 control pod to purchase without much luck. Does anyone know where I could get one or where I can go from here to use the sub?

I'm not sure about the control pod, maybe ebay? You could always hard wire it up into another sub amplfier though. Granted at that point you'd be better off buying a proper sub.

No idea honestly.

I found an 5.1 ultra control pod for $85, but my amp is from the THX BASH set.

From what I've read here, the difference between the control pods are purely cosmetic. It would be an incredible improvement over the 6in, 50 watt sub in my 2.1 promedia set at any rate.
