[VR-Zone] BBB accuses BioWare of false advertising over Mass Effect 3 - Page 7

In Bioware's defense, they aren't the only company to have "falsely advertised" a game. These people are just angry because they couldn't literally change the game's course/ending by choosing one mission over the other. Most people don't rage and whine and cry and all that when they don't get the lollipop they wanted...but then again...the people complaining are a special kind of people... rolleyes.gif

I would be upset if I brought a game thinking I could impact the future based off my choices in game only to find out later that that isn't possible. This is one of those things that made heavy rain one of my favorites. If you they didn't have this in mind then they shouldn't have claimed it in the ads. For me it is a selling point.

what if you think that the multiple options all taste the same, even though they are different?

that's an opinion, not a fact.

not to mention i've already shown how much of a scam the BBB is, but there is no cut and dry yes or no to this, you cannot hold someone to a non-committal advertisement if you're the BBB.

again, this is another case where PC gamers are bringing about the end of PC gaming.

look at ME3 threads, BF3 blackout threads, etc.

all it is is a bunch of people whining and nitpicking about their small sliver of the market while developers see less whining from the segment where the majority of their money comes from. it's a no brainer to stop developing PC games.

Nobody cares about these *****y people. It's a small amount VS satisfied customers so they mean nothing. Let them swim out of the sea.

Well if you go to the following link for the game on Amazon, total up all the reviews... it's about 1,600 right now... and see that the average rating is below 2.5 out of 5 stars... this game has not been well received. Say what you want about how you liked it but it does not change the fact. If you loved it, fine but don't come here and crap on those of us who didn't. Your opinion doesn't count more than ours.

Don't try to come off as if you have never purchased anything for $50+ that turned out to be junk in your opinion and didn't voice your opinion about it in a review or on a forum. This is called customer feedback. I read reviews before making any purchase, no matter what it is. I value this feedback. Some of it can be way off base but much of it is right on target.

I'm sorry but I don't know a single person who was happy with ME3.
Even though this is a stretch I kinda hope this goes somewhere tbh.
Maybe now EA will stop spitting in the faces of their costumers...

EA won't stop what they're doing just because their customers aren't happy. They're making money and to them, that's what matters most.
I personally bought into ME3 because I was a fan of the series. Bad decision on my part. I should've kept the good memories I already had with the previous games.

A good game with a sub-par ending doesn't make for 2.5 out of 5. But yea, that's just my opinion. Oh, and those 1200 reviews on Amazon count for almost nothing, that is a vocal minority, and considering the millions of sales they had, I doubt they're too concerned with the whining minority.

Far Cry 2 got a 3.5 on Amazon. Are you guys really going to sit there and tell me that Far Cry 2 is better than Mass Effect 3?

same here, tbh i just dropped ME after the begging of ME1 due to all this, i haven't met any one who liked the ending. i've just considered it another ruined title. I'll stick with indied/kickstarter games for a while.

Later peeps.

Oh, rest assured that ME3 will win quite a few GOTYs unless Something like GW2, Crysis 3, Halo 4, or Diablo exceed expectations. First 99% of the game is stunning, and the last 1% isn't THAT bad people.
