I have to find answer to this?!

Hi all. My son was over the other day playing a game on my computer using a wireless XBOX 360 remote. That setup for him using a gamepad for a lot of games is great. Now the problem.
He noticed the other day that I have COD MW3 installed and ready to play, With keyboard and mouse. My son is still not good enough to be able to play COD MW3 online. With out gamepad it is cruel for him. He doesnt understand why the gamepad works for some COD games, Like Black ops and not others. So can someone please help me find a solution to get my Gamepad working on my Rig. I am using Win 7 64 bit ultimate.
And did I mention that my son will be over tomorrow night, And I would like to be able to surprise him instead of letting him down. When daddy can't fix something, He gets upset.
So please, Help!!

It pretty much depends on the game itself if the Xbox 360 controller is supported or not. Here is a list of PC games that support the Xbox 360 controller.

if the game doesn't support the 360 controller natively there are alternatives:

pad2key
xpadder
and
pinnacle game profiler

out of the three i prefer using pinnacle game profiler, its probably the better developed program of the three, can easily find controller profiles for games from their site only down side is that it costs a pretty $24.99 for the software you can also try it free for 30days, if money is an issue go with xpadder both will provide all controller functionality to games that dont support it straight from the box.
