Odd TSAA corruption in Mass Effect 3 single player only

Helloooo guys and and girls,

Ive been trying to figure out just what the heck is going on with the single player Mass Effect 3. I like to use 4x SGTSSAA Spare Grid Transparency Super Sampling AA and 4x MSAA. I know the first thought is why don't I use FXAA. that isn't what this thread is about. There are a few variables here that make it a very odd problem. Let me share the single player screenshot and the multiplayer one. The MP screenshot has no corruption like the single player. So look at Shepard's shoulders and the edges of things. There is a 'bump' of pixels every 1/4" or so. Once you see it on his shoulders, you can start to see it on like every edge in the game. The weird thing it doesn't happen in multiplayer.

This was not an issue a few weeks ago when I was testing out different AA in the single player. I thought maybe it was caused by the new 300 series drivers so I did a clean install of the last known good 296 drivers. That didn't fix the issue, nor did setting inspector to default, nor did trying to repair the game in case there are corrupted files or something.

MassEffect3 2012-04-12 20-10-10-15

and then in the MP, things look just dandy:

MassEffect3 2012-04-12 20-09-07-86

MassEffect3 2012-04-12 20-09-05-46

My thoughts now is that its the game engine? why would the MP be fine but the SP is all corrupted with the same exact settings? ANY help on this would be appreciated. Going to grab dinner, ill be back to check on this thread and answer any question you all might have, I really appreciate it.

I also tried rolling back the nvidia inspector, that didn't help either. man the game is remarkable beautiful with sparse grid tssaa and msaa enabled. i am beginning to think trashing the games data files and making origin re install them is the next step

ok I solved this debacle I think. after rolling back to an older nvidia inspector, i noticed an update for the new inspector that updates it to 1.96.4, and yesterday was a new update that updated it to 1.96.3 so Im thinking they found a bug in their AA section that was causing this because without changing any settings after updating to latest version, i opened the game for *****s and giggles and the weird corrupted edges look normal now! thanks for all the help OCN!
