Upgrading From a Caviar Blue ^__^

So it's been a while since I have looked into getting a HDD replacement tongue.gif You can tell can't you? lol. This HDD was been with me for almost 4 years, since my original budget build. I currently have Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB SATA 3.0Gb/s HDD, and for starters the Read and Write times are slow in my opinion :/ also I want something with a bit more storage, like 500GB - 1 TB.

I use an external 1 TB USB 3.0 Drive for all my Movies, Anime, PSD Files, Cinema 4D Files, General CAD w/e, and stuff that I honestly don't need to keep on my internal. All that I keep on my Internal is Games, Programs, Game Files, and the OS tongue.gif

I am looking to spend maybe $60 max, so I am looking for something that will be "Obviously" better than what I got.

I was looking into this, but it's $80: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152181 And I prefer a SATA 6.0Gb/s. I only have 1 SATA 6.0Gb/s port running from my SB so I want to take advantage of it.. the other 6 ports on my board are SATA 3.0Gb/s.

Just so you know that there will be absolutely no performance difference b/w SATA 3Gb/s and 6Gb/s for the HDD as long as all other specs are the same.

And since you want the closest price to $60 and SATA 6Gb/s connector i'd say get this: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Caviar-Cache-Desktop/dp/B00461G3MS

If not get a the better performing caviar black: http://www.amazon.com/Western-Digital-Caviar-Internal-Desktop/dp/B004DMFAJ2

If there is no difference in performance then I'll get a SATA 3Gb/s, cause they are cheaper on Newegg.

*EDIT* I was looking at this in the Marketplace and I was kinda interested in getting it for the price..

Would it be worth the buy for a boot drive?
