Yep, that'll come with WinTV software to tune into the channels. I would recommend using it with Windows Media Center instead, though, but WinTV will work great all the same. Depends on what you prefer really. I had a few issues with A Hauppauge Satellite card with WMC but that was basically because it was a Sat card and there were some FreeSat channels I couldn't get into. It was a Hauppauge problem to do with decoders (card was made before HDTV, I think).
The remote won't open browser windows and stuff like that. It'll act just like a TV remote instead (text, red green blue etc buttons vol up down). I think you'll need a Media Center remote to do that or something like the Antec Veris case stuff. The remotes they come with act as a mouse and keyboard (you can also just get a Soundgraph remote instead of buying a whole new case of course,
). I think XMBC comes with Media Center remote controls that DOES allow you to open browser windows and such, not sure on keyboard functionality.
That comes witha remote bu is like twice the price
