Can I remove a program/drivers from a different windows installation?

Hi, my friend recently gave me his netbook to fix. It was blue screening on boot, but I've pin pointed what the problem is. It's a problem with drivers he installed recently. I have his HDD plugged into my computer right now. In his program files folder, there is a folder that is from the program that installed the drivers. I'm wondering if there is anyway that I can delete this program and the drivers entirely so windows will boot normally when I put the HDD back in the netbook. I would try deleting the drivers themselves, but I don't know exactly what they are called. The only thing I do know is that this program installed them.

Deleting the program and/or programs folder is a good start but it does not delete the drivers. The only way to remove them effectively is by uninstalling them. Otherwise, you'll need a complete list of files, where they are installed and the patience of an angel. So, hooking it up to your PC won't get it done, sorry. It would help to know the program/drivers you are trying to remove as it might be possible to find and remove this rogue device through device mgr.
