Don't feel bad I have a 965 BE that doesn't like the NB above 2200 MHz. but it clocks to 4.0 GHz. at the default voltage. IME NB is over-rated as far as performance goes. You ain't missing anything tangible IMO. Just tweak your CPU for best performance and enjoy it. Anything you get beyond the rated frequency is FREE performance you didn't pay for. thumb.gif

Thats a great overclock especially at those volts. Do prime 95 blend for 10-12 hours. if it passes that then its pretty stable.

Here's my 955

4.2ghz @ 1.42-1.44v
2800-2900mhz CPU/NB @ 1.375v (1.4v with 4 sticks of RAM)

on my 970-ud3 with hyper 212

Its due to my mobo that I can not shoot NB above 2400 , I could shoot to 3000 on my asus mobo with same CPU.

Iron: Are you increasing the CPU/NB voltage to get higher "NB Frequencies"?

AMD4ME: I think you're mistaken in regards to the not missing anything tangible. I think there are small tangible benefits, if you check out stickies you'll see that Phenom II's get decent gains from IMC overclocking...

Well... your argument implies that he shouldn't stress or people shouldn't argue about him getting higher NB frequencies... Which... is totally counter-intuitive for an overclocking community. Or maybe I'm analyzing too much! xD

My CPU/NB voltage is @1.325v. If I put NB above 2400 system will not POST and need to do a CMOS RESET.
