CM 212 evo for oc'd i7 920?

Hey guys I planning to overclock my i7 920 processor to around 3.6~Ghz and I obviously need a decent cooler for that. I was reading about about coolers and can't decide what to select. I don't want very expensive like Noctua NH-D14 or Corsair H80..

So I think I may go with CM 212 evo, with 2 gentle typhoon fans I already have. Do you think that's will be enough cooling? What kind of temps should I expect?

And in my price range there is Prolimatech Megahalems rev c, but still it's 2x as expensive as 212 evo.

Ya that should be enough for a 920 upto 4GHz. Temps vary depending on ambient temp.

all depends how much voltage ur chip needs.

I will get corsair 500R case which should make good cooling in the case, and voltage I dunno..

Now I am wondering maybe it's worth getting Prolimatech Megahalems, which is really good cooler, but twice as expensive..

I am not from USA, so hard to say in USD, but around ~75$, I would say my budget max is around the price of Prolimatech Megahalems cooler biggrin.gif

On the other hand, i would prefer to pay less if possible, that's why i am considering 212 evo.

So sorry for bumping, but CM 212 evo vs Prolimatech Megahalems for my i7 920 3.6ghz? Is it worth price difference or just better stick with 212 which is twice as cheap. I am going to use double gentle typhoon fans on both.

Im sorry that i forgot to answer. I would get the best you can get for ur budget. So the megahalems will be really nice with your AP-15s.
