Looking to purchase a new gaming headset for PC and Xbox 360.

I owned Turtle Beach X31's for around a year and they were magnificent, comfortable, worked well, but weren't surround sound. Only problem with these was the only way to connect via pc was with a PC adapter cable, which for me, lasted 2-3 months, then would get shorts and stop working and I take good care of my things. So then I got Turtle Beach XP500's, XBA bluetooth adapter for Xbox 360, completely wireless chat, answer my cell phone connected via bluetooth and talk through it without ever taking it off, or computer via bluetooth for advanced audio for music or headset for chatting on Skype/Vent/etc. They work great and I really would love to keep them but sadly, they're the most uncomfortable headset I've ever owned, rub my ears raw because the ear pieces aren't deep enough and give me a slight headache from time to time because the band is tighter than I think it should be. This isn't covered under 1 year warrant because I bought them refurbished, which is no biggy, I can buy a new headset then sell them via Ebay and be just fine with that. I am just looking for some much needed advice on what brands to look at, I've heard only good things about Astros but they are a bit steep, but doable, won't spend over probably $300. Thanks OC community, you're the best! Thanks in advance for the help! thumb.gif

Sennheiser PC360.

I'd recommend a good quality set of headphones with a desktop mic. Some headphones I'd recommend would be Sennheiser 598s or beyerdyanamic dt880s. Desktop mics are fairly inexpensive so they shouldn't be a problem
