Thread Starter
Ok, so im running RC1, and I cant seem to get folding to work. Currently computer is a dual boot with XP, so I can run it on XP while im gone, but I like surfing and stuff on Vista and would like to be able to get it to run in the background while surfing. Here is the error im getting. Things I have done to try to remedy the problem:

Run in XP SP 2 mode
Run in Admin Mode
Firewall Exception

I had the same problem and I fixed the problem. You have to right click on the icon and choose "compatibility mode" and set it for XP. It should work then. At least it worked for me. I had a problem downloading a WU, so this should fix it.
