And to answer the question, DX9.0L does support Shader Model 4.0, which requires a DX10 (or DX9.0L) card. Sounds to me those will be DX10 graphics in XP. Or at least that what I think... maybe someone could second that? Another theory is that it will be so You will be able to use the G80 card in Crysis before Vista actually comes out...if there will be DX10 games before Vista.
