Buzz from Corsair HX 750W..happens when booting up and when desktop screen..

So my Corsair HX 750W PSU buzzes when I go through the boot up process. When the Windows 7 loading screen comes up the buzz disappears. When the log in screen/desktop come up, the sound returns. I've tried disabling a few power saving features that I read about on other forums but I have not had any success disabling or limiting the noise. Has anybody heard about this issue with my PSU and the Asus Sabertooth P67 mono and Intel i7 2600K? I would hate to RMA again.. So if there are some features I can change or driver that conflict, I would be happy to hear from anyone who can help.

Thanks

I doubt it is a driver conflict since it is occurring from the post screen. Use this tool http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp to measure your wattage and see if you are over it. Try unplugging everything but leave the mobo plugged in to see if it still makes the noise.

It says I am pulling about 500~ watts which is well below the limit of my PSU

Have you tried unplugging everything but the motherboard. it may save you having to rma your psu. Are you sure it is not the fan in the psu that it is buzzing

Try stopping the fan for a couple of seconds with a non metal object like a pencil and see if that stops the buzzing. It may just be a wire hitting off it or the fan grill on too tight.

I've unhooked all the cables and booted up. I've checked the ram. Hopefully it's not my mobo. Time to RMA I guess.
