Need some help with my Promise Vtrak 15110 Disc Array.

So I have an older Vtrak 15110 promise array. Currently I have it working with 6 2TB drives in a RAID 5. The unit holds 12 SATA drives. I have all of the firmware up to date and my SCSI card can definatly handle what I need it to do. So what I want to do is have 12 2TB drives in one RAID 5 container. I don't know what the problem here is but I can build the 12 2TB RAID 5 container fine in the Promise array, when I boot into windows and go to the disc server manager I can see the proper space, but when I try to format the drive it fails. To me this doesn't make any sense since the array will allow me to build the RAID 5 container but windows won't let me format it. Please any advice would be great! + reps

I fixed it. I had to manually set the sector size to 4K for windows to be able to format a partition larger that 16TB on one logical container.
