Questions for Mac Owners

What is a good and free antivirus program that supports OS X 10.4.11 in my sig. Also what internet browsers have support for OS X 10.4.11? I'm new to Macs and picked the one up in my sig for cheap just to play around with, so I don't know much about it yet.

Welcome to mac, you don't need an antivirus. Just enjoy a spam free computer lifestyle. There was some talk about a virus finally coming though to mac but I don't think many were actually infected. Obscurity is security, although that may change in the coming years.

Not trying to stir a Mac vs PC debate, they both have their strong points I have both and prefer mac for fluid, stress free OS usage and PC for gaming and hardware flexibility.

about a browser..

The PowerPC Mac's have three well known browsers, Camino (Firefox for PowerPC), TenFourFox, and Safari.

Watching Youtube can be a difficult since Adobe upgraded the req. to Flash Player 11, but here's the fix:
Google 'Flash on PowerPC Mac' and there is a guide in the site 'jesimpki' with a download to fix the the req.

did this with my G5 and it worked smile.gif I had a G4 ibook and made the videos tiny and it worked lol

Watching Youtube can be a difficult since Adobe upgraded the req. to Flash Player 11, but here's the fix:
Google 'Flash on PowerPC Mac' and there is a guide in the site 'jesimpki' with a download to fix the the req.
did this with my G5 and it worked smile.gif I had a G4 ibook and made the videos tiny and it worked lol
