RAM Dilemma

Hello people, tomorrow I'm going to bump up my system with 2x8GB sticks but I'm stuck between two choices:

http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-1600MHz-Memory-CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10/dp/B006EWUO22/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334361208&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-240-Pin-Desktop-F3-1600C9D-16GXM/dp/B007GWMQ66/ref=sr_1_16?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334361143&sr=1-16

While I do trust Corsair more, GSKILL have CL9. Will the difference between two noticable? Or should I simply stick with Corsair?

Also, will these RAM sticks work with X79 and Z77 Motherboards?

I think you don't need more than 8gb ram.

Look: http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-240-Pin-Platforms-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=sr_1_11?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1334361575&sr=1-11

Good speed, good timings, I have that rams with @1600mhz and timings 7-8-8-20 wink.gif

EDIT: But if you want 16gb,Ripjaws definitely

abit noticeable if you bench them but that's about it.. both should work on either platform.. but if you want 16GB on a x79, it would be best to by a 4 x 4GB kit so you can run your RAM in quad channel which would be a nice difference smile.gif

He/she have a P67 board and its dual channel, so Corsair 2x4gb should run great
