I have a level 134 public character with everything in the game on NG+.

Thanks! I'll start a character and get him there so I can summon you. I'll PM you when I'm there

Hmmm I might have to try playing with my level 10 some more. I think I'm on Ng 7, so the armor spiders web shot is a one hit kill lmao.

My public melee character on NG + with everything is now level 141, I won't be increasing it again so you know what level range you have to be in.

I've had this game in m backlog for a while and never played it. Yes, I know shame on me. redface.gif Anyway, I thinking of starting it up. Should I be concerned about the servers going offline? What would I be missing gameplay wise? How enjoyable is the game without it?

Playing offline will result in the following,

Won't be able to PVP which was the best part/half of the game to many people.

Won't be able to receive or hand out help via coop.

Can't be invaded which means having your body no longer carries the stress that you might be invaded since there will be no invading phantoms to kill you and steal it from you.

Will render the Foe + Friend ring useless.

World Tendency won't be influenced via special events, since you can change your world tendency without being online it will still allow the pure black world and white world tendency areas to remain accessible.

However, you should still be able to patch the game, I think Sony hosts the patches, I'm not sure.

Summation - Will still be a fantastic experience, but you can't be carried by anyone else and can't experience pvp.

Thanks for the info. Just looked at some of the PVP fights on youtube and didn't like them at all so missing it is nothing big to me. Guess the game is still worth playing, I'm digging in this weekend.

Still got a month left on the servers I think. The main thing you'll miss is co-op and the messages, not PVP as someone new to the game. Depending on how often you play you might be able to experience a good amount of it though. There should be a lot of people playing since the servers are going down soon.

Yeah, I despise pvp in the game as well but many other people enjoy it. Most people try to backstab you and I always hated that, then you'll run into the the exploiters and people that item dupe 24234234 dark herbs for PVP.

But, there are many people that treat pvp like a gentlemans game instead of an exploit gank-fest.

I forgot about the messages, and they would mean more to him if he is new as well.

My favorite was to go to 2-1 and put "I want to be resurrected" on the dead horse.

I like putting "beware of rear area" behind the statue in the nexus (the one by the pit that opens). I remember the messages being quite helpful when I first played, since I didn't use any guides.

I'm not a guide user at all so the messages will be helpful. I'm sure it's a great games with or without the online features.
