Most people that gets sponsored parts are either reviewers, writers for a particular related magazine, or a enthusiast that has done logs on various builds and posted on forums.

I know of a few that are very good at art, and uses a case as their canvas, vendors sometimes approach these people and ask them to use their stuff in the rigs..

Mod of the month winners, Case Modders of the month, decade, Picks of the month, Tournament winners, etc, etc.. Many ways to attract sponsors..

Free advertisement for them, Free Stuff for you..

On that note, I don't think this rig is sponsored, I don't see mention of it nor is it in the "sponsored rig section", It's a rig that he paid and building that is dedicated to folding..

You mean the 2x mounting brackets allowing the pump clamps to be mounted onto the rad? Those are 120mm black bitspower adapters for mounting onto fans/rads. smile.gif I got it directly from bitspower

dual D5 pumps was a must for this build, although my last 90 degree madness project had a good flow rate nonetheless.

aaaaand.... here is another quick update:

Received the second Xeon E5-2630
Received the second D5 pump, extra LGA2011 mounting hardware for my first EK block that I purchased before LGA2011 was out
Received 2x2GB XMS3 RAM, silver kill coil + biocide

Managed to do a bit more work on the fittings side of things. I also velcrod down the dual pumptop so it stops trying to run away from me when i'm working on the build! smile.gif

Enjoy!

Again, sorry for the lack of updates - the SR-X is really slowing me down and as such i'm unable to move forward much. I will likely do some tubing soon though (one of the last things left that I can actually get on) as i'd rather plug everything in before starting on cable management and routing of extra cables.

Thanks all, oh a quick question, does anyone have any idea onhow I could repaint that XSPC RX360? It got scratched a while back and those scrat ches look really ugly. Maybe XSPC will know what I should use on it to try and cover it up a little atleast?

Thanks, I'll hit Bitspower up and order me a few, those would come in handy in my next build.. I always ended up drilling holes to mount the reservoir holders which sometimes don't necessarily match with my fill ports.

As for the touch up, I had the same problem with my Thermochill TA120.3, paint comes off very easily.. I used a black flat paint oil based magic marker, unless you want to go overboard and take it apart and have it professionally painted over again, it's a quick and cheap solution. You won't notice it in your case unless you have some light directly pointed at it. I'd avoid using the Pilot Black paint markers, they result in a shiny black finish once it's dried.

I find it interesting that you're using fittings instead of tubing. At least you won't have plasticizer issues. thinking.gif
