Looking for a LED guide - Page 2

Just a heads up, finally got around to picking up my resistor today, ended up going with a 100ohm because i thought the 180ohm was too dim. went with a series circuit with it going 12v -> LEDs -> Resistor -> ground. Works great and after I figured out what I really needed, it only took a few minutes to solder and put on proper insulation(heat shrink tubing).

Due to state testing(waste of time) I haven't gotten a chance to put my case back together. When I get home I'll post a pic of just the lights.

Here's the pic. I apologize for taking so long. Basically just solder everything up plus to minus.

So the resistor goes on the negative side of the circuit?

Correct, it does go on the negative side. Go ahead and google "LED calculator" and check out the wireing diagrams. I've built alot of things now with LEDs and that thing is infinately useful.

The website I prefer is: http://ledcalculator.net/
