My Mouse is Dieing, Looking for a Replacement

My current mouse -> Habu
http://cdn-u.kaskus.us/66/rzaoxa44.jpg

The Scroll wheel is skipping sometimes up and down. I opened the mouse but no success figuring out the issue.

I'm on budget. I live in Canada, if that makes a difference.

I use 1600DPI mainly and sometimes 2000DPI.
I like the shape of that mouse.
I like the adjustable sensitivity buttons.

I don't like Logitech g5 mouse.

Thanks !

So whats your budget?

Razer Death Adder is a similar shape.

Personally I love my Corsair M60. Best mouse I have ever owned.

Mouse is pretty close but ambidextrous. Seems far-fetched for the price, but actually is a great-quality mouse that comes with a 1-year warranty.
Can go upto 1200 DPI which is close to 1600 DPI. Slight resemblance to the Copperhead/Diamondback shape which is almost a clone of the Habu.

I'm going to say, get the Deathadder, if you love the shape, that's a tried and true mouse (although personally I'm not a fan of the shape)

If you'd rather not spend the money on a new mouse, open up your mouse again and look inside the wheel. There should be very small slits in the wheel that light from an infrared LED shines through. These slits get filled with hair and dust over time and cause it to act funny. Clean the slits and the wheel should function normally again.

Cooler Master sentinel, been using it for nearly a year without a problem.

Sorry for the late post.

I'm currently looking at the cooler master ZERO -> http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62923&vpn=SGM-6001-GLLW1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER
But im scared that I will run in software/firmware issues.

This one is pretty cheap, http://ncix.com/products/?sku=63943&vpn=GM-M6900&manufacture=Gigabyte&promoid=1360

Logitechs are nice but not cheap tongue.gif
The DeathAdder is my choice, yet it's the same mouse like the Habu. Same internals, same issues ?

Death Adder and the Habu only share the shape. The Death Adder internals are completely and utterly different, and they are imho much better than the Habu.

Bottem line is if you like the Habu's shape, and want a practically flawless sensor the Death Adder is the choice you should go for.

Failing that go for the Logitech G400 preferably a newer one without the prediction.

EDIT: get the Death Adder Black Edition if you don't like the glossy sides on the regular Death Adder
