Just bought a open box Z68UD4 and I am wondering if I should have any fears about putting my 2600k or GTX680 without putting something cheaper in first? I have another rig I could break down and put its processor and gfx card in but it would involve more work. I am willing to do it if there is any serious risk dealing with open box goods. I looked at the CPU pins and they look good, I realize a lot of the time open box is just a quick return and doesn't mean there is some kind of shady business going on, but I did buy off a well rated ebay dealer, and not Newegg. Just wondering if you guys think it is worth the effort of breaking down a cheaper system to test the safety of the board before I put in the expensive bits.
