One more thread about Copper and Nickel...

Guys

Again, newbie here.
I'm putting pieces together for a watercooled built.

I already got the Aquastream XT pump and some 1/2" compression fittings.
Im planning now for the Rad and the CPU/GPU/Chipset Blocks.

I've heard so much about no mixing metals (Copper, Nickel, Aluminum, etc).
You guys mean on the same loop? or so the metals never make contact to each other?

I really dont know if the Aquastream XT pump has some of those three metals above inside, so that would be my starting point, I wonder if anybody knows.

At this point Im sort of blind, so I dont know if I should go with Copper or Nickel.
I would like to buy the best possible quality equipment so it last for the future.

My CPU is LGA 2011 (two of them), on EVGA SR-X and the GPU is EVGA GTX 580.
Any advise of what to get will be great.

Thanks for the advice.

In order to start a corrosion, metals need to have electro potential difference above 1.1V and need to be put in electrolyte.
Even distilled water becomes one once it is running all over the loop.
