The CM will destroy the H100. its a full watercooling cooler. Not a fake one like the H100.
Even the single 120mm rad will beat the H100.

Thats not possible, as there is no spot to mount the H100. The mounting holes in your case is only for 140mm fans and 120mm mounting needs custom work.

I think he knows his case. and you cant even say it will destroy it since they havent even hit the market. ivy bridge was suppose to have a big increase in power over sandy bridge... and look whats happening
And I had a rasa 240 a "real" water cooling kit and it had basically similar temps to the "fake water cooling kit" H100.

If you had a rasa 240 and got similar temps from the H100, then you did something wrong.
Was it the RS or the RX? That will make a big difference.

Then yes you did something wrong. No way the H100 will come close to the RX240. The RX240 rad is 58mm, vs the H100 25mm, that there alone will make a big difference.
The H100 dont even compete with watercooling market. Its market is the high end air cooling.

The RX240 is about 12c-15c better than the H100, which is a big difference. I'm talking just using 2 GT fans only.

No one who watercools, would say the RX240 is comparable to the H100.
No one here would say that or anywhere else either.

Well if the H100 is comparable to the D-14 then might as well not risk it. The H100 while would be nice , like has been said here performs similarly, might not fit the case without custom work, which I am able to do as I know my way around tools, might be pointless in the end if someone with just a heatsink can equal me in terms of temps, so there is no point. In regards to the Cooler Master kits I'm gonna keep an eye on those. +1 rep Junki3 thanks for the info mate. And NyteSnyprJR maybe you just got a terrible one that should have been returned, as I would be very surprised to see something with less surface area able dissipate more energy, also isn't the H100 only Aluminum?

Lets put this into perspective, my 2500k OC @ 4.5ghz is getting temps of 52/57/56/56. Try to find someone in the Sandy Stable thread with better temps than that! I'm using a D14 heatsink with TY-140 and Gentle Typhoons. Stock noctua fans would give you similar results but at slightly higher noise levels. With your OC and voltage, you will easily be under 70C.

Sounds good to me, that with MX-4 and lap job on both would be excellent thumb.gif
