[EXPreview] First 4GB non-reference version of GTX 680, GALAXY four-star generals review

This graph looks interesting. I was waiting out for 4GB for a triple monitor setup, but it really doesn't look like it helps as much as everyone thought it would...

It bet it helps even more in something like Skyrim with HD Texture Mods, and others, at 5760x1080.


Which is part of the reason I want the 4gb version.

Blue PCB with a silver/black color scheme. Galaxy continues it's tradition of making some of the most fugly GPU's ever biggrin.gif

The extra 2gb vRam hardly helps performance at all : /

vRAM is typically a minor bottleneck. But when we're talking about folks running 5760 x 1080... minor bottlenecks tend to get a lot of attention. When you spend that much money on monitors, you want everything performing at maximum capability thumb.gif
