X79 RAID + Intel RST Enterprise TRIM?

Thread Starter
Does Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise support TRIM? I have two Intel 520's connected to the Intel 6Gb/s ports on my Rampage IV Extreme (ASMedia SATA controller disabled as I don't use it), they are in RAID 0. I have the latest current version of RST Enterprise.

WIll RSTe get the TRIM function for RAID arrays along with RST 11.5?
There is a new 11.5 on station drivers right now. It's crap on x79 system though.
hey doo, it sounds like the rst-e 3 series will have raid0 trim, and that they may (or will) contain a corresponding orom to the 11.5 we see lately, unless it's already there in our latest bios updates (for x79, the 11.5/z77 orom/drivers will be 3 series releases). there is a newer orom for x79/enterprise up on station drivers. i may have to fiddle with getting it modded in...

i would imagine (i assumed the e series would get it first, and i believe the corresponding orom, labeled 11.5 for the p and z platforms, is already incorporated into an e/3 series release. which one, i dunno) as it looks like the whole lot may be a 3-ish series/two driver jamboree, unless intel settle on some other solution. if so, we will all hang together at a later date...

Yup, I will throw the new W8 on the m4's I have lying around. Hopefully it is a better experience than the cp was.
