We can't see that wishlist unless you share it.

Gaming on $500 is pretty hard. What games do you want to play? What resolution is your monitor? Do you need an OS included in the price too?
Do you have anything you can re-use? Your current sig rig's case and anything else? If yes on re-using stuff from your sig rig, what brand/model is your PSU? And HDD?

This is about as close to $600 as I could get with quality parts that will let you play some of the newer games on decent settings. Total is about $637:

Case: Thermaltake Commander - $59.99

HDD: WD Caviar Blue 500GB - $79.99

GPU: SAPPHIRE Flex 100328FLEX Radeon HD 6770 1GB  - $129.99

PSU: Thermaltake TR2 Series TR-450P 450W - $69.99

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz - $49.99

Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 - $121.99

CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 - $124.99

Note: Your last post snuck in there before I posted this, so I grabbed a new GPU to accommodate the res specs.

or this if you want extra VRAM

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500229

this would also beat the HD 6770 for less so more room for other bits

About the best I could do. Costs about $550 after mail in rebates. If you were to stretch the budget to $650 you could have 2500k which when overclocked would blow away the cpu I used in this list. But if your dead set on around 500 mark this is probably best youll get.

Oh and also the well known samsung 8GB 30nm kit is sold out on newegg at $48, if that comes back into stock buy that instead and overclock it to 2133mhz.

I would probably do something like this:

Case: XION XON-180 - $35

HDD: HITACHI 7K1000.D 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s - $80

GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7750 1GB - $115

PSU: CORSAIR CX430 V2- $47

RAM: G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 - $38

Mobo: ASRock H61M-VS - $50

CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 - $125

If you live in a state that Newegg doesnt charge sales tax, that should come out to ~$490.

I have no experience with that case, just picked it because it was fairly cheap with free shipping, thats probably the first thing I would improve if you can find extra money in that budget.

go the h61 mobo with the i3 as you cant OC it anyways no need for p67 or z68 save yourself 50-70$ on just that part.
i have an H61 board plus an i3 2100 it works sweet, also i managed to get anotheer 100 MHz out of it on the asus P8H61 M/USB3 using ausu auto tune feature, same frequency as a 2120 now smile.gif
