No point, really.. A calibration is dependent upon your specific monitor and lighting conditions and brightness/contrast settings. I highly recommend just buying a calibration tool. I attached it anyway, just make sure to match these settings on your OSD: Brightness 50, Contrast 70, DCR Off, Backlight 3, and Color Status Management: Normal.

EDIT: WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS PROFILE WITH RECENTLY ISSUED (JUNE OR LATER) MODELS OF THE 2720 MDP - THIS PROFILE WAS CREATED FOR A 'BAD BATCH' MODEL WITH HORRIBLE FACTORY COLORS. USE OF THIS PROFILE WITH A 'FIXED' FIRMWARE MODEL MAY RESULT IN INACCURATE COLOR TEMPERATURE

Highest I can get through the DVI-D is 60Hz, so I doubt it.

Does this monitor scale up a 1080p HDMI source (i.e. BR player/PS3/XB360)?

How was the PQ? I'm a little worried I've now ordered but it looks really bad according to this review

http://www.playwares.com/xe/22822289

Can't tell how bad though the online translation for Korean is horrible lol. Think it says something about retesting as CrossOver was going to fix some major problems with the AD board. My guess is they tested a preproduction model.

I went through their review, the unit they tested sucks, but that doesnt mean they all will since there seem to be some large panel variations amongst the Crossovers.

-Terrible contrast @ less than 500:1...other Korean displays they reviewed have around 1100:1 contrast
-Poor average gamma around 2.00 (the other Korean displays, except for the PCBANK also had low average gammas=washed out colour)
-terrible colour temperature out of the box @10,000k (target is 65000k, the others were around 6200k)
-Pixel Response times are higher than those of the other Korean displays
+good IPS viewing angles
+lots of connectivity

I "read" (well looked to be more accurate) at the review too and it doesn't give me much hope for that monitor either. The range of connections is amazing though. Personally going to wait for the MicroBoard Q270-DP myself unless I hear of something even better looking at a better price.

Mine not shipped yet asked the seller if he had any idea what board it had. If it has not went out I may switch to one of the other models. I went for the 10bit color thinking it was a better panel. Guess I should have waited lol.
Well I was able to get a refund before it shipped out. Ordered the QH270-Lite Pixel Perfect which was $130 cheaper. Hope it does HDCP or I'm screwed. Already had to disconnect my Bravia TV because HCDP stopped working and it was causing media center recording problems. Reall wish Ceton would hurry up and get the Q/echo out.

EDIT: The Hazro manual says DVI(HDCP) and everything looks identical. The Hazro is even English/Korean OSD. Guessing the biggest difference is A- panel.

According to www.playwares.com review most of others Korean panels including are much better than this one from the point of view color temperature, contrast, brightness uniformity and power consumption, even than crossover 27Q. The last looks extremely strange because in one of post hight color temperature for 27Q led was mentioned. Could it mean that panels difference is not between model types but between each monitor itself in one model series?

Keep in mind Crossover said they were going to change the board used in the monitors. There was going to be a followup review at that time.

Hi pabloedvardo I have the 2720MDP GOLD LED and have it connected to my PC via Dual DVI and HDMI to my Xbox, on my OSD it has the settings for Brightness, Contrast and DCR but not for Backlight. Where in the OSD menu did you have that option?
