Corsair 650D or BitFenix Shinobi XL?

Thread Starter
I need help choosing a new case and narrowed it down to a Shinobi XL and a 650D.
The prices for a 650D is $190 and the Shinobi XL with the window side panel is $160.
Some of the features on both appeal to me such as the hot swap area that comes with the 650D on the top and the Shinobi XL being a Full Tower case and the amount of space it has.
Please tell me what you think. biggrin.gif

+1 for the 650D, I find Corsair's cases to be very appealing for a builder, as well as in its aesthetics.

normally i would say go for corsair 650d (650d owner here) but i recently used this case on my friend's build and i think the bitfenix shinobi xl is also very well made and a little more flexible than the corsair 650d.

- nice simple, monolithic look
- very solid and sturdy build
- you got the side window which is awesome
- cheaper than the 650d
- can fit 360 rad
- can put fans at the floor or put a 240 rad

right now i could not think of any reason why one would choose 650d over this bitfenix beauty biggrin.gif well, except for customer service. corsair is really good at caring with their customers. i am not sure about bitfenix though.

here is a link made by a bitfenix vendor rep xbournex: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227902/bitfenix-shinobi-xl-window-side-panel-you-wanted-it-we-did-it

long story short, i vote bitfenix shinobi xl.

The build quality of corsair's cases does not match their price tag. I own the 800D and honestly, I would never recommend it to anyone.

^ This is what I'm always saying. Corsair cases are overpriced and have nothing more than others...
