That's about par for the course in terms of thermals. FX runs hot. My H100 could run my 8120 at about 1.48v at 55C during IBT. Now with my Raystorm block, I'm clear up to the accepted max of 1.55v for about 55C.

Before when I was OCing, I found most issues due to NB and Ram. I bought a CHVF from the start, so I didn't have any issues with VRM. Phenom and FX OC very differently.

For LLC, find whatever setting that makes voltage vary the least under load from what you set it in bios. It varies from board to board.

Using HWMONITOR, what is your core voltage while running prime 95? Is the H80 set to high?

Don't worry about Prime... my CPU sometimes able to run prime for 10 minutes and other day for 6 hours.
But at the end I have absolute stability(24/7) under heavy rendering and gaming BF3 with dual GPU.
Looks like it's a bug in the chip..... same as first relize of Phenom 1 and early I5/i7
overclock as high as you can and enjoy when it comes smile.gif

i changed the llc to extreme, voltage is on auto,if i try to raise the voltage to much it will become even more unstable .but when i raise the cpu speed it becomes more stable than with high voltage lower clcok speed on a full load, which it will just freeze and i have to unplug it from the power.
