i5-760 overclocking, blue screens no matter what?

A while ago I decided to overclock my CPU and had it stable at 4.07ghz or so I thought. After a while it started to blue screen and randomly restart so I just clocked it all back to default and left it thus solving the problem.

I've decided I want to overclock it again, problem is if I overclock it even to 3.0ghz it blue screens or fails while running Intel burn test. Any advice on what could be causing this to happen?

Also why does my ram show 3 at 12800 and one at 16000? they are all the same type and speed.

if you say that the ram is for sure the same type and speed then in this situation i would recommend resetting the bios settings (which should clear any left over changes you've made while overclocking) see if that works, if not. iam not quite sure where to go from here. i never had problems with the same ram showing different speeds.
About the 4.07 overclock, somehow my CPU 4.0ghz overclock doesn't get stable at all if i push it harder than that. my temps are cool and vcore/vtt are supposed to be stable.

i would worry about fixing your memory problem first before trying overclocking that CPU, best of luck

I have tried this before. I might open my case and check the ram weird thing is I bought them in packs of 2 (2x 2gig)
