Enough pc for sometime?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, after i had several problems with 1366 pc I decided to change several things.

This is my final build

Case: thermaltake element g
CPU: i7 2600k
Ram: 8gb skill 2133
GFX: 480 SLI with antec mod
SSD: M4 crucial 128gb
HD: 300 gb
Cooler: Noctua NH-d14
Mobo: Asrock p67 fatal1ty pro
PSU: corsair hx 1050

I mainly game, most of the time BF3. Play on 1920*1080 and get arround 60-70 fps all ULTRA on bf3.

Say anything you think about it, might do more upgrades if needed

Ty!

Why not get the Samsung DDR3 8GB ram instead? 2133 brings little to no benefit for Sandy Bridge.

PSU is too powerful, unless you are aiming for 3 way SLI? Hopefully you can get that P67 board for a good price, otherwise I would grab a Z77 motherboard instead.

Thanks for the reply.

About ram, I already own those. Same as the PSU, got an overkill one just In case I do a TRI SLI.

About the p67, I bought it very cheap and I aint planing on getting ivy.

Any other comments?

Should I go TRI 480?

You really don't need a 2600k unless your doing rendering or anything like that.

Ah I see you already own all this. What about your monitor, keyaboard and mouse?

Maybe get two more of those monitors and use surround on them.

Should I go TRI 480?

I don't think it's necessary. Either you play on one monitor and the 2 480s should have enough juice, or you play on multiple monitors and you need more vram.thumb.gif
