HD 7970: $479
HD 7950: $399
HD 7770: $139

Just looked up the prices in UK and there does seem to be a discount on the current offering now, but no mention of the other free games so I guess they are selling off the older SKU before stocking the newer ones.

not sure whether I should get a Saphhire 7950 OC for £315 ($500), since its about £30 saving off the previous price...

just sucks how much worse the pricing here is than in the US frown.gif If only I could somehow cheaply get one sent over from US

Remember that in the US sales taxes aren't included in the listed price whereas in Europe the VAT generally is. Here in New York a $400 7950 in reality costs $435 (unless it comes from Newegg bc they don't charge sales tax <333)

Hmm,

I guess it would only save about ~£50 then, and with shipping from US prob even less...maybe i'll consider that £300 7950 after all then....

never bought a graphics card over £100 before, not sure if this is wise (£300) confused.gif lol

Ye in price but not performance thumb.gif
The 680 is already ahead of the 7970 by a good bit the 670 will probally be on par with the 7970 like last generation of gpus. 570 =6970 then there was no performer on the red team that equaled the 580.

Can you really get it for £300? what about shipping, is she bringing it over on a visit?
Well She will be sending one big box of stuff since its my bday in a few weeks, will be getting cpu/mb/gpu etc and it usally only costs about $30-40 for shipping for the big box with everything in it. 479 for the 7970 is coming in at a bout £302, and she will be for shipping if I buy all the stuff since its my bda tongue.gif I wish amazon shipped across seas for us all the time.
Sorry for going offtopic and clogging up the news bit tongue.gif.
