In raw FPS, the 6600GT was better, and scored better on some benchmarks too, but when you keep piling on the extras like AA and AF, the 6800 takes much less of a hit in FPS.

EDIT: I had the same 6600GT you do. It's a great little card, I have no complaints, but if your 6800XT is an NV40 (and thus you can unlock pipelines), I'd keep it.
lol i was actually comparing the 7600GS DDR2 and the 6600GT DDR3 (i used both of those and the 6600GT came out on top for raw FPS). Thanks for your input, though.
