When you're constantly acquiring new studios and IPs, you're going to have a higher than average worker churn.
Firing 1/8th of your workforce is a MASSIVE cut. It means either you're not profitable or you think you won't be very soon. You basically said they've cut 30% of their workforce over the last 3 years.

Uh, so? Get a new job, like everyone else. Or draw unemployment for doing diddly squat for 9-12 months.
If you suck at your job, you deserve to lose it. And I doubt many here would disagree that "EA" sucks at "their job." Gotta start cleaning out the closet SOMEWHERE.
Ignorance at its best. Have you ever held a real job? If you have you'd know that the ones who impact the quality of a product are NOT the same ones getting fired. You think the low level employees getting the pink slip are the same ones making decisions that impact anything?!
It's similar to how the US auto workers take all the slack for how the US auto industry put out horrible cars but no one stops to think that those low level workers had no CONTROL over what they were putting out, nor did they approve the designs for those terrible cars.Edited by FuNkDrSpOt - 4/16/12 at 4:17am
