They're minimum wage jobs (except the store manager and the assistant manager) aside from that its the equivalent of mcdonalds work. Not to say there is anything wrong with mcdonalds. I worked in fast food too when I was younger and Im always polite as its a thankless underpaying job. However, the guys(or girls) at mcdonalds dont pressure me to buy a warranty with my mcnuggets. When they ask if I want it supersized and I say no that is the end of it. At Best Buy you may have to say this 4 or 5 times forcefully.
No... Im not upset about the store closings.. Those weren't career type jobs. They were what I call "throw away" jobs. Its a job anyone can get and only pays you enough for survival (food rent electricity and 1st world necessities). The jobs we should be concerned about are those that actually pay enough of a wage for a human being to have a disposable income.Edited by Darkpriest667 - 4/16/12 at 2:16pm
