I'm so sorry, living in another country means that I can't express any opinion whatsoever. God bless the mighty America ! Funny that I see US users commenting about the rest of the world everyday, especially all the topics about China that pop up, but we lowly Europeans can't possibly have anything meaningful to say.

Lol thankfully not everyone over here acts in such a manner. FWIW, I agree with what you're said. The same thing repeats itself in thread after thread.

Quit being a fool and trying to start trouble. Saying things about users of ocn like you're not on this site also. I don't care that you're from france, but when you start making comments about people I will bring up the fact you only said that stuff to start trouble. France doesn't have best buy, and you are talking about people from ocn in a bad light. Get out of your moms basement before you start making comments.

Yes sir!! Thats what happens when you rip people off left and right and ignore it with horrible customer service lol

Yeah they ripped me off, got some big jvc's for 60, then they broke and they wouldn't refund it. So I bought them for 27$ at walmart.

I live in Puerto Rico and there's like 4 of the left here, there was 5, they closed one back in February, they are closing the biggest store and the one that makes them the most money (who the hell does that?, this people are crazy!! kookoo.gif) in May, 150 people will loose they're jobs (none of the knows nothing about computers/hardware btw, i know, i've been there rolleyes.gif) and before anyone say good riddance the local computer shops here are twice (if not more) as expensive as BB wth.gif, so i'm pretty much screwed with expensive as hell shipping (USPS is a life saver!!!!, so damn cheap!!! biggrin.gifthumb.gif) from the states to here.

^ They hardly have anything in stock either. When I was in Houston we had Microcenter.

Down here in Corpus it's BB or Altex or a local small shop. Mark ups are beyond ridiculous at all of them. Check out the BB reviews for our store down here: Best Buy. This review absolutely sums up the CC, Texas Best Buy store:
Quote:
Unfortunately this is the only Best Buy in CC. This is not a good thing, they should open another, larger, cleaner and more well organized store in Corpus Christi. When you walk into the store, it is a virtual mad house, every single time I have went there, people are walking around aimlessly - associates giggling to themselves, to what appeared to be the store manager upon commenting about the store being so chaotic & messy, was like - "it's always like this...." Nice. Even the outside of the store has trash blowing around like some bad horror movie. The store smells badly of either vinyl or plastic or some other toxic chemical. Merchandise is in the wrong section all over the store, specifically the games, movies and music area - things that can be moved around ARE MOVED from one section to another, I have noticed. Nothing is as it should be in this store.

Would you recommend this store to a friend? No

OCN For Sale, The Egg, NCIX, Petras.... I'd buy from a zillion other places before buying from BB.

There's nothing wrong with being young and leaving a mostly carefree life, more power to them.

I think you may wana rephrase that part, teenagers aren't the only ones in school (regardless of what level of school it maybe) and saying people in school makes it seem that as long as you are in school, you fall into th criteria you are describing. However i get what you are saying though, and i agree to an extent.

Best Buy is still a decent place to buy a decent spec TV since the sales they constantly run on them will place prices similar to online sites and you don't need to worry about shipping.
