Hey guys. So still one of my 6950s, sold one and selling this one in 2 and a half months to get either a 680 or 7970 and watercool it.

Just wondering if the 680s suffer the 3rd screen tearing? If you have had eyefinity you know exactly what i'm on about haha.

Cheers lads!

With AMD it happened in my 6950 crossfire setup too.

You do know what I'm on about but? The distinct, fixed line on the screen using displayport that tore the image. Not your normal 'screen tear' in games.

yea, you need a flex or lightning 7970 to not have the lines, you need all the same display adaptor to not get the line.

i have never heard of "THE LINE" with nvidia because it doesnt require the displayport for surround.

Can't this be the reason itself, it sounds like you want to go green team, so just go green.

$120 is a fair bit more but. Hell that would cover the waterblock.
