As for the OS, just remember that this isn't an Android device and it isn't an iOS device. It is a WP7 device. It takes a completely different approach from the others, however. While on those platforms you go to an app and then do what you will there, WP7 has you go to what you want to do and perhaps access an app at that time. For example, if you want to listen to music or watch videos you can go to the Music & Videos app and it will have your music and videos that you've synced right along side any relevant apps inside. So all your media is in the same spot. That's just one example but good luck and give it a chance!

I read what you posted and you're absolutely right, the Zune app is exceptional. While I still maintain that foobar2000 is better for desktop purposes it serves its purpose far better than iTunes has and I'm using it right now to put my music onto the Radar. Like I said I am giving it quite a bit of time in my opinion to get used to the flow of doing things on this device and i'll admit it's giving me some headaches in terms of my past 3-4 years or so with android. Does anyone happen to know if I can switch out Bing for Google search on this thing? :'( The search results Bing gives me are painful to say the least but maybe it'll start stealing my information as time goes on to personalize it a bit more

Bing is weird. I started hating it but now I'm actually liking the 4-5 results it shows at first. Also, the universal search button does a ton of stuff. If you look at the icons on the bottom, you have a text translator, barcode scanner, music analyzer (shazam, soundhound), and more. Honestly, just search alone alleviates me from 4-5 apps I had to have on my iPhone. Just mess around with it. If a feature is missing, read around to see why they might have left it out. 95% of the time I find there is an easier way to do it I didn't see before.

true ms integrate so much !often the feature we ask is just somewhere else included in that in a submenu!we re so used to have huge amount of apps that we tend to over complicate ourselves!ms did and is doing a pioneer job on that front of simpler is better!we just arent use to ms way!bing have one issue tho they need all their search to be similar dated to google.i often use alternative because bing force me search trough the huge amount of clutter.and android when i search something i mostly use blekko!it isnt perfect but darn its fast and powerfull!it is just a search engine on android but it does it very good and secure

Same reason no one bought webOS, people are sheeple. Plus it's easier to stick with what you have than try something new.

just because some new comes out it does not mean it will sell. This is to build up fans for future phones. Make people wait for it and get that big wave iPhone gets and then everyone forgets about it and get ready for next years model.

Why can't you change the search from bing? That honestly sucks. Zune also sucks (tried that on my desktop many times)
