Comparing features across the board isn't always the best way to compare.
As for Pandora on WP7, it is an open API and so you can download one of the many apps on the marketplace. I use MetroRadio Pro. I did email Pandora and let them know of my interest for an official app and they made a statement along the lines of 'we're thinking about it'.

At that point i'd say it really depends. Especially if you're looking at "a" as phone calls and "b" as texting (which are the two main uses of cell phones). I mean we're at the point where the keyboard on my phone is very comfortable and the phone calls... i got no complaints. I don't see how either one could be better. BUT if there is some revolutionary break through, such as holograms xD i wouldn't mind losing "c" for holograms! tongue.gif

I tried and failed to comprehend anything that you're saying there, but it seems like you want to talk about the apps on WP 7.5 or maybe the Marketplace?

I just hope they don't stop making Windows CE (compact edition) just cause they suck at marketing their phone version. Cause IIRC, pretty much all the in-dash DVD player/GPS/Bluetooth/MP3 Players/etc etc etc all run windows CE. And when it got to 6.0,, it actually started getting pretty decent. Provided your in-dash system had enough ram. I run windows CE 6.0 on this in my toyota:

Its an AWESOME unit for the price. I can only imagine how great it would be to have a model that ran Windows 8. Which of course is basically windows phone, which is basically Windows CE.

Windows CE is still present in WP7. It got a complete overhaul, so it isn't going anywhere. CE is also used in RF scanners/PDAs like those used in shipping companies such as FedEx, UPS, etc. and also found in ATM machines.

Everyone going goo goo over the fact that MSFT is supporting ARM when the fact of the matter is that they've supported ARM for almost 20 years now.

Protip: All mobile platforms are technically operating systems. iOS is Unix, Android is Linux with Java VM overlay, and WP7 is probably a derivative of the Windows kernel and XNA.

I think the entire point went directly over your head. Not any phone...   U mean just ones that's been rooted & updated, or bought within the last 5 months from Android?

Understand, that most people needed Apps, BECAUSE Android & Apple didn't offer the full Internet experience on their phones.

Otherwise, why do I need a newegg app, if I have a full fledged browser?

Coincidentally, the over-reliance on apps is a thing of habit. Just like the habit forming fella that wouldn't buy a WP7 phone because it didn't have a Pandora applet.  Why?  When u can just use the normal website without the need of an applet. Do you run applets on your home computer..?

Then why do you need them for your phone computer..?   OH.. I forgot, it's so savvy to d/l applets that function as a patch for a defunct UI. As Android artificially gives you less, so you required to buy more.

Piecemeal!

HERP

Android's built-in (aka comes in stock) browser can request desktop versions of sites. You just have to enable it in the settings menu.

Your post just reeks of ignorance, my friend. Android since version 1 has always been a custom Linux kernel running a Java VM; if you think about it, it's actually an OS within an OS because it runs a virtual machine on top of that underlying Linux system. I surmise you haven't known of that fact, so you spew bunk about it.
