It hasn't moved in price on other major retailers either.

Everyone knows you can buy it used half price or buy it from some site you've never heard of for half price or so.. I even was googling around and found it for $320-ish on some site .. it was in stock too.. but I'd never trust buying it from there.

Yup. Intel has already said Ivybridge isn't a direct replacement of Sandybridge, so Sandy is going to hold pricing for awhile.
